Year 2 Swimming Carnival
Last week our Year 2 Swimming Carnival brought plenty of energy and teamwork to the Gungahlin Leisure Centre.
The event focuses on participation, water safety and confidence-building rather than competition, helping prepare students for the Year 3–5 carnival next year.
Our Year 10 Sports Science students played a valuable mentoring role, providing one-on-one assistance for our young swimmers. It’s a simple but powerful example of how shared experiences strengthen connection and learning across year levels.
