Our Campuses
Located in Gungahlin in Canberra’s north, Burgmann Anglican School spans two campuses at Valley and Forde. Set across 7 and 3 hectares respectively, both campuses are close to local waterways, open spaces and nature reserves, providing a unique and expansive learning environment.
As a relatively young school, Burgmann’s campuses reflect contemporary design, with purpose-built facilities that support the needs of today’s learners. Across both sites, indoor and outdoor spaces work together to support learning, wellbeing and a strong sense of community.
Each stage reflects the developmental needs of children and young people. Smaller, nurturing settings in the Early Years help build confidence, curiosity and belonging. Junior School provides strong foundations for learning and relationships. A dedicated Middle School at Forde responds to the specific needs of early adolescence, while Senior School at Valley offers growing independence and specialist spaces as students prepare for life beyond school.
The result is a coherent journey across two campuses, where each stage is carefully shaped so that every child is known, supported and ready for what comes next.

Forde Campus
The Forde Campus opened in 2009, expanding Burgmann’s offering and creating a dedicated environment for the primary and middle years.
Home to Preschool, Junior School and Middle School, Forde supports students through the important transition from early learning into adolescence. Students move to Forde for Middle School, before transitioning to Senior School at Valley.
The campus is designed to foster connection and confidence, with flexible learning spaces, outdoor areas and facilities tailored to the needs of younger learners and early adolescents.

- Preschool for 3 and 4 year olds (due for completion January 2027)
- Junior School - Kindergarten to Year 2
- Middle School - Years 6 to 8
- Arts and Design hub, featuring music, visual art and design tech studios.
- Library and shared learning spaces
- Multi-purpose hall with indoor court, stage and 360 retractable seats
- Outdoor courts and sports field
- Age-appropriate play areas and open green space
Valley Campus
The Valley Campus is Burgmann’s original campus, established in 1999, and remains a central part of the school’s story and community.
Today, Valley is home to the Early Learning Centre, Junior School and Senior School. It supports students in their early years and again in their final years of schooling, with many students transitioning between campuses as they move through different stages of their education.
Modern, purpose-built facilities support a broad academic and cocurricular program, while generous green spaces and shared community areas create opportunities for connection, play and reflection.
