Wellbeing
Wellbeing at Burgmann Anglican School is grounded in strong relationships, connection and a sense of belonging. Students are supported both in and beyond the classroom to develop resilience, confidence and self-awareness through age-appropriate wellbeing programs, pastoral care and everyday experiences within the School community.
Student wellbeing is an important part of life at Burgmann Anglican School and is embedded throughout the educational experience from Early Learning to Year 12. Wellbeing is not limited to moments of additional support; it is part of everyday school life and helps every student grow socially, emotionally and academically.
Across each stage of learning, students are supported through a network of care that encourages positive relationships, personal growth and engagement in school life. Wellbeing is supported through classroom learning, mentoring, pastoral care structures, targeted programs and partnerships between staff and families.
These experiences help students develop resilience, emotional awareness, respectful relationships and confidence, while fostering a safe and inclusive environment where students feel known, valued and supported. The School’s approach to wellbeing is closely connected to community, identity and the development of the whole person.
