Year 11 and 12 Photography Visit the Galleries
How do you prepare senior students to exhibit their own creative work?
For our Year 11 and 12 Photography and Visual Art students, the answer was found in the galleries. A recent visit to the National Gallery of Australia and the National Portrait Gallery gave them insight into the curatorial decisions and design choices that shape how audiences encounter art.

The experience builds both creative and critical skills, equipping students to step into the role of artist and curator when they stage their own exhibition at Burgmann in Semester 2.
