Year 10 Maths Day

Oct 22, 2025 11:00 AM

Burgmann Anglican School has proudly hosted the Year 10 Maths Day since 2010, creating an opportunity for students from across Canberra and the surrounding region to collaborate, problem-solve and stretch their mathematical thinking.

This year marked our 13th competition, with teams of five tackling creative mathematical rounds including the Cross Number, Swiss and Relay, each designed to challenge both logic and teamwork.

Schools represented this year included Brindabella Christian College, Canberra High School, Daramalan College, John Paul II College, Marist College, Merici College, Radford College, St Francis Xavier, St Peter’s Anglican College Broulee and Trinity Christian School.

Radford College were awarded the Fibonacci Shield and Canberra High School received the Hypatia Plate.

The day is a wonderful celebration of intellectual curiosity and academic engagement. Burgmann is proud to provide this experience for young mathematicians and to continue supporting opportunities that bring learning to life.
