What an incredible day of learning we had on Monday!
Staff from across the School gathered for a day of rich professional learning with the theme “Enabling diverse cultural backgrounds to unlock excellence.”
We were thrilled to partner with Kate Xavier from Together for Humanity and hear from a panel of parents who generously shared their family stories of education and migration. It was a powerful reminder of the richness that cultural diversity brings to our school community.
Classroom stories from our own teachers highlighted the everyday impact of intercultural learning at Burgmann, and we walked away with new skills and strategies to support our young people as they navigate social and cultural complexity.
A big thank you to everyone who made the day so special — especially the families who shared their experiences so openly and meaningfully.
