Middle School Walkathon
Movement, conversation and connection are becoming part of the rhythm of Middle School life at Burgmann.
Throughout Term 3, staff have led optional Recess for Resilience walks, giving students a low-pressure opportunity to move, talk and reset during the school day.
This Thursday, the initiative will extend into the Middle School Walkathon. Students will walk to raise funds for Recess for Resilience, with families joining them for the final laps.
The program draws on the work of Running for Resilience and has a natural connection to our neighbourhood. Each Sunday, participants meet at Frankies at Forde for a community walk or run, followed by time together afterwards.
