Primary school leaders visit Burgmann during national conference
Today we welcomed primary school leaders from across Australia to Burgmann’s Valley Campus as part of the 2026 Australian Primary Principals AssociationConference.
Burgmann was one of three Canberra schools included in the APPA Impact Canberra experiences, which took delegates beyond the conference program and into local school communities.
A demonstration of SpellEx, part of Burgmann’s literacy program, in one of our Year 3 classrooms generated particular interest from delegates keen to learn more about the program and how we use it in practice.
It was a valuable morning of professional exchange and conversation with fellow educators from across the country. Thank you to the delegates who visited us, and we hope you enjoy the remainder of the conference and your time in Canberra.
