Year 9 took part in the Rite Journey Challenge Day at Grevillea Park this week, an important milestone in their 2026 program. The Rite Journey is designed as a structured pathway through Year 9, guiding students as they navigate growth, responsibility and the transition into the Senior years.
The weather added an extra layer, with steady rain and plenty of mud underfoot. Through problem-solving activities and Dragon Boating with Dragon Boat ACT, students had to communicate clearly, stay focused and work together when things felt uncomfortable.
The Rite Journey deliberately marks this stage of adolescence rather than leaving it to chance. Challenge Day is an early step in that process, giving students a shared starting point for the year ahead, wet socks and all.
