Earlier this term, our Year 9 cohort took on an incredible five-day adventure in Namadgi National Park, the major outdoor component of their Rite Journey program.

Run by Outward Bound Australia, the experience encouraged students to step beyond their comfort zones while developing leadership, teamwork, communication and resilience. From abseiling and high ropes to long hikes, service projects and quiet reflection by the river, every activity offered a new challenge and a chance to grow.

Staff shared stories of courage, laughter and support. Students cooked for one another, celebrated their successes on Jacob’s Ladder and tackled each day with increasing confidence and independence.

It was a week of growth, connection and unforgettable memories. Congratulations, Year 9, on embracing every challenge and supporting one another along the way.
