Today our Year 6 students took their learning beyond the classroom, visiting Gungahlin Marketplace to see business and economics in action.
Building on their recent Bake Sale, where they raised funds to support people in need, students are now exploring how marketing, business models and design influence consumer choices. They spoke with local business owners to understand entrepreneurship, advertising and the factors that contribute to business success.
Later this term, they’ll put their knowledge into practice by sourcing products for Anglicare, applying their budgeting and analytical skills to make informed, purposeful purchasing decisions.
