We are incredibly fortunate to have the Wildbark Learning Centre at Mulligans Flat just minutes from our campus. Recently, our Year 4 students took part in the Round Robin Tour as part of their environmental science unit.
The tour offered an in-depth exploration of habitat diversity and species preservation through four interactive stations. Students learned about endangered species reintroductions, hollow-dwelling wildlife, the importance of coarse woody debris, and the reptiles that form part of this unique ecosystem.
It was an excellent example of place-based learning, giving students a greater appreciation for the delicate balance of our natural world and the vital work being done in local conservation.
Thank you to the Wildbark team for creating such a rich and engaging learning experience.
