Today marked one of the final moments for our Year 12 students as they gathered with their families for a special Chapel service recognising their journey, their contribution and the impact they have made throughout their time at school.
The service offered a chance for our community to pause and acknowledge the legacy this cohort leaves behind. Kindergarten students sang Be Strong and Courageous, a piece many of our Year 12s first learned in their early years and one that still resonates with them.
A new symbolic moment was introduced this year, with every Year 12 student passing a candle to a Year 5 student. This gesture reflected the leadership they have carried with Grace, Commitment and Wisdom, encouraging the Year 5s as they look ahead to their transition into Middle School. In return, Year 5 students offered a flower as a reminder of God’s never ending love and care.
“Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God goes with you.”
A warm farewell to our Year 12s, grateful for all they have brought to our community and assured in their readiness for the future.
