It was a chilly start at the AIS this morning, but that didn’t stop our Year 2 to Year 5 students from giving it their best at this year’s Athletics Carnival.

From sack races and vortex throws to long jump and relays, there was a great mix of fun, effort and friendly competition. The Burgmann Flash sprint was a standout, with plenty of excitement from students keen to qualify and cheer on their peers.

A big thank you to our staff and Senior School students, especially those working towards their Duke of Edinburgh Award, who helped run events and support students throughout the day. And a special shout out to Mrs Amy Dwyer for the huge amount of planning and energy that went into making today such a great experience.

And to the families who rugged up and came to cheer - thank you for being part of it.
