Preparing students for learning goes beyond the curriculum. In the lead-up to the start of term, our teaching staff have come together for professional learning focused on the social skills that underpin positive relationships, resilience and meaningful engagement with the world around them.
Across a whole staff day, as well as targeted sub school and faculty sessions, staff explored how we intentionally support students to communicate effectively, collaborate with others and navigate challenges across different stages of their development.
This shared work reflects our belief that strong academic outcomes are built alongside social and personal growth, and that both are essential to a student’s education.
