This week, we welcomed our Year 12 students and their families to Mura: The Final Calling, a new and significant event marking the beginning of their final year of schooling at Burgmann.
Mura, meaning ‘pathway’ in the Ngunnawal language, reflects the shared journey now unfolding for the graduating Class of 2026. Held in the Valley Chapel, the evening formally welcomed students into Year 12 through the presentation of jerseys and pins, symbolising this important milestone.
As our first Rite Journey cohort, the evening provided a valuable opportunity for students, parents and carers to pause, reflect and look ahead together, acknowledging both how far our students have come and the path before them.
