Year 8 student Levi Chan delivered an extraordinary performance at last week's ACT 13&Over Swimming Championships, winning all nine of his events across the meet.

Our Burgmann team represented the School strongly throughout the competition, with Levi’s achievement standing out across an incredibly demanding program.

Levi competed in four 50m races, three 100m races, the 200m Individual Medley and the 200m Freestyle, choosing to compete in every event despite the physical demands of the schedule. The result follows an equally impressive performance earlier this year at the ASC Swimming Carnival, where Levi won all seven of his events to secure the Age Championship title.

Sport Coordinator Amy Dwyer praised not only Levi’s results, but the determination and resilience he demonstrated throughout the competition.

“Even when he was tired, he chose not to withdraw from anything,” she said. “By the end of the day, he had given absolutely everything.”

Levi’s performance reflected not only talent, but persistence, humility and an impressive commitment to pushing through challenge. Congratulations to Levi and all students involved on an outstanding championship.
