Year 12 student Jasmine Terron recently attended the National Youth Science Forum Year 12 Program at The Australian National University.
The national program brings together students from across Australia to explore STEM pathways through engagement with researchers, industry professionals and university facilities.
For Jasmine, the experience provided valuable insight into future study and career opportunities while connecting her with peers who share similar interests and aspirations in STEM.
Now part of the NYSF alumni network, Jasmine hopes to return next year as a student staff member. We also acknowledge the support of the Rotary Club of Yass in helping make the opportunity possible.
Applications for the January 2027 program are now open for current Year 11 students.
