Buddy Program Strengthens Connections Across the School
The Buddy Program is underway at Burgmann Anglican School, bringing students together from across Junior, Middle and Senior School.
These photos capture Year 7 students spending time with their Year 1 buddies during one of their first sessions together. Activities focus on character strengths such as empathy, fairness, teamwork and resilience, helping students build confidence and connection across year levels.
Meanwhile, our Year 10 students will meet their Year 3 buddies this week as part of the Grow Your Mind program. These sessions focus on wellbeing and emotional literacy, while giving Senior School students the opportunity to develop mentoring and leadership skills.
Programs like this play an important role in building a connected school culture and developing confident, compassionate young leaders.
