Library

The Library is housed in the school's Central Resources Building.


Library information for students

  • You may borrow picture books, fiction and non-fiction books for 2 weeks. Reference books, magazines and newspapers are not for loan.
  • Fiction books appropriate for Middle School and Senior School students are shelved separately from the general fiction books.
  • The number of books you can borrow depends on your Year level:
    • Kindergarten & Year 1 - 1 book;
    • Year 2 - 2 books;
    • Year 3, 4 & 5 - 3 books;
    • Middle School (Years 6,7,& 8) - 4 books; and
    • Senior School (Years 9,10,11 & 12) - 6 books.
  • Students from Kindergarten to Year 5 need to have a library bag.
  • Classes in Early Childhood and Junior School (Preschool to Year 5) come to the library for 30 minutes each week for reading and borrowing.
  • Junior School, Middle School and Senior School students use the library for research assignments and may come with their teacher or in small groups.
  • The library has a computer area where students may use online and electronic resources.
  • The library is open at lunchtimes for reading, borrowing, and quiet activities.
