Governance
Burgmann Anglican School is an independent Anglican school that offers education from Preschool to Year 12.
The School is governed by a School Board. The Board is made up of prominent people in the Canberra community who have the necessary expertise and gifts to enhance and direct the growth of the School. The Board is chaired by Mr Allan Hird. There are twelve Board positions including a parent representative, the minister of the Gungahlin Anglican Church, and the Principal. Each member sits on the Board for a term of three years.
The School Board is overseen by the Diocesan Schools' Council. The Diocesan Schools' Council is responsible for several Anglican schools in the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn including Riverina Anglican College in Wagga Wagga and St Peter's Anglican College on the South Coast.
The Diocesan Schools' Council is responsible to the Bishop and ultimately, General Synod.

The school's current Strategic Plan covers building expansion and learning and teaching initiatives for 2007-2009.
The 2007 Annual Report Parts 1,2, 3 ,4, 5 ,6. celebrates the achievements of our community during the school's ninth year.
