Instruments

At Burgmann, tuition is currently available for the following instruments:

• Clarinet
• Classical Guitar
• Flute
• Percussion (including Drum Kit)
• Piano
• Recorder
• Saxophone
• Trumpet
• Viola
• Violin
• Voice

Tuition on particular instruments will be subject to the number of applications, age and availability of teaching rooms and tutors.

All students participating in any part of the instrumental and vocal tuition program are encouraged to participate in the ensemble program. This program is also open to any other student not taking lessons at Burgmann who wishes to participate.

The ensemble programs available at Burgmann are provided free of charge to the students and currently include: Chamber Choir, Junior School Choir, Middle School Boys' Choir, Middle School Girls' Choir and the String Ensemble. Opportunities for participation in wind ensembles will arise during the course of this year.

From time to time, opportunities for students to accompany the choirs and class singing groups will be provided for students who are members of the ensemble, have reached an appropriate performance level and who are willing to undertake the extra practice required to carry out this task.
