Founding Chair's Final Speech

Dr Beth Heyde was the founding Chair of the School's Board. Dr Heyde served in that position from 1999 until March 2007. Prior to 1999 Dr Heyde was on the task group appointed by Bishop George Browning to establish a new Anglican School in Gungahlin. The school and the community is indebted to Dr Heyde for her commitment, wisdom and passion for affordable Christian based education. In her honour the Senior School Science Building is named The Heyde Building.
